ZACH BONNAN
CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Hi, I'm Zach.
I like creating work that makes people stop. Even if it's just for a second. I want them to stop to laugh, stop to cry, and stop to say, "Bwhaat was that?"
But most importantly, I want them to stop and remember what brand brought them that particular emotion. Because our work should always have a purpose - to help our clients and sell their services in a way we can all be proud of.
I've created work for broadcast, digital, social, experiential, commerce, and everything in between.
At Edelman, I lead the Johnson & Johnson global creative team creating work that helps humans.
Before that, I was the creative lead on the Ace Hardware, Cars.com, and Illinois Lottery teams at OKRP. At DDB I led teams and created work for brands including McDonald's (brought positive perception up by 56%...not easy for McD's) , Miller Lite (relaunched Miller Time), and Skittles (fulfilled a career dream by creating a Skittles campaign).
Finally, I started my career by spending years honing my craft on brands like Coca-Cola and Sprint at Leo Burnett and HAVAS.
I'm also a children's book author/illustrator, and recently sold my debut picture book to Chronicle Books...you could say, I like telling stories for a wide range of audiences.
